LIBERTY BOOT'S TONY BENATTAR DEBUTS EXOTIC COLLECTION
Toronto, Canada — Liberty Boot Co.'s first ever exotic collection combines classic design and traditional construction methods with a Rock ’n’ Roll sensibility owner/designer Tony Benattar has honed over many years in Canada's independent music scene playing and recording in Rattlesnake Choir and The Cameron family Singers as well as doing session work.
"With this line I want to open new doors for Liberty and give long time Liberty wearers something new and exciting. Bands in Toronto generally wear black and that influenced this line. I wanted something edgy that I could wear on stage but also in a business setting. It needed to have tons of attitude without being in your face. We used soft deer-tanned calf and french calf for the uppers and super Caiman belly cuts for the vamps and counters, collars pulls and inlays. All our exotic collection feature hand-carved leather toe boxes and stacked leather heels and a minimum of 75 lemon wood pegs helping to keep the steel shanks in place and insure a long term comfortable fit. That's the traditional part. Super Caiman belly is beautiful and soft and that's the classic part. Line 'em up: all black leather with Chocolate, Blue, Cognac and Black super Caiman belly and there's your Rock ’n’ Roll!" says Benattar. Available through Liberty Boot Co. dealers coast-to-coast in Fall 2011.
