Montana Silversmiths announced Oct. 6 that Rick Ruebusch has accepted the position of chief executive officer. Ruebusch has had numerous prestigious executive appointments during his career and has most recently served as president of SPX Corporation, a Fortune 500 capital goods manufacturer.
Rick is an Ohio State University graduate and as well as being a Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Manufacturing expert. His extensive career accomplishments reflect his excellence in management, operations, manufacturing, technology and engineering.
Wil Garland, Montana Silversmiths chairman of the board, stated, "Rick's strong execution skills and proven ability to lead top performing teams is a perfect fit for Montana Silversmiths. In addition to Ruebusch’s appointment, was announced the same day that David Stimmel has accepted the position of chief financial officer. Stimmel was most recently vice president of finance for Transtector Systems Inc.
