JUSTIN BRANDS, INC.CELEBRATES THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY’S 75TH ANNIVERSARY WITH COMMEMORATIVE BOOTS
Justin Brands Inc. president and CEO, Randy Watson, presented Texas Department of Public Safety chairman, Allan Polunsky, and director, Steve McCraw, a pair of custom boots commemorating the department’s 75th anniversary at the Diamond Jubilee celebration in Austin, Texas.
“I’m honored to offer these boots as a token of respect from one Texas institution to another,” said Watson. “The department’s motto is ‘Courtesy, Service and Protection,’ and for 75 years the citizens of Texas have enjoyed the benefits of that motto due to the committed men and women of the department, some of whom have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.”
The black, belly-cut caiman boots feature the department’s logo on the boot uppers, and the Texas flag along with the years 1935 and 2010 on the bootstraps. They will be put on display at The Texas Department of Public Safety Historical Museum and Research Center in Austin as part of the yearlong anniversary festivities.
In addition to providing the commemorative boots for the Department of Public Safety, Justin Brands has made boots for the Texas Rangers Law Enforcement Association for many decades.
