ULTIMATE EQUINE JEWELRY TO DESIGN CUSTOM JEWELRY FOR INTERNATIONAL EQUESTRIAN FESTIVAL
Known for their exquisite equestrian-themed jewelry, Ultimate Equine Jewelry will create a special collection to celebrate the International Equestrian Festival, which will take place Sept. 25-Oct. 10. Horse Capital Productions, a Lexington-based company, is producing the event.
The jewelry, which will feature the International Equestrian Festival logo, will be available for purchase in the spring and at the event. Types of jewelry for sale include lapel pins, stock pins, brooches, pendants, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, charms, tie tacks and cuff links. Made from precious and non-precious metals, the exclusive pieces will be sold at a variety of price points, allowing all attendees of the International Equestrian Festival to find items that work within their budgets. The Ultimate Equine Jewelry collection is the first of the International Equestrian Festival's official licensed products.
New Jersey-based D. Paglia & Son has been designing jewelry since 1955. In 2007, Daniel Paglia teamed up with renowned equine artist Beverly Zimmer of Aiken, S.C., to create the Ultimate Equine Jewelry collection. The line combines Daniel Paglia's mastery of fine jewelry manufacturing and craftsmanship with Zimmer's expert understanding of sport horses and their anatomy that is unmatched by modern-day equipment.
"To be able to work with a company like D. Paglia & Son is a great opportunity for us," said Anne Buchanan, Horse Capital Productions' founder and CEO. "They are well-known in the industry for their beautiful, high-quality jewelry. The custom pieces for the International Equestrian Festival will make wonderful souvenirs and a great memory of the event."
In addition to the exclusive line of jewelry for the International Equestrian Festival, Daniel Paglia and Beverly Zimmer have plans to exhibit a stunning collection of equine jewelry. Attendees will enjoy a special exhibition of Zimmer's larger sculpture, which is described as "a whirlwind of thrilling motion."
