WELL-HORSE SELECTED IN HORSE JOURNAL’S TOP TEN PRODUCTS OF THE YEAR
After more than 440 products were considered, Well-Horse was selected as the No. 1 wound treatment and a 2009 Horse Journal Top 10 Product of the Year.
"We take great pride in choosing the top 10 Products of the Year. These items were in field trials during the past 12 months and ended up being products that we reached for repeatedly long after the actual field trial was completed,” said editors of Horse Journal. “We consider what various manufacturers have brought to the market and how those products make taking care of our horses easier. We select items that have improved our ability to optimize health care especially in ways that we can undertake ourselves. We look for products that keep safety in mind, work economically and/or simply solve problems. Above all, we look for products that make the biggest difference in our barns.
"The most recent research suggests simply treating most wounds with a disinfectant, simply to keep them clean and allow them to heal. However, sometimes you need more. Well-Horse soothed wounds, kept tissues moist and appeared to even decrease pain. You can use it under bandages, too.”
“Well-Horse is on the list of ten with some amazing products. We are honored to have a product named to this prestigious list”, said Well-Horse creator Coco Fernandez. Fernandez continues, “There are many wound products on the market and we are proud to be selected for the 2009 Products of the Year. The great thing about Horse Journal is they do not accept advertising and provide true, honest feedback that is not influenced by the money of advertisers.”
Well-Horse is unique in its treatment of wounds and infections as it is used to regenerate tissue on wounds by promoting the formation of new collagen. Well-Horse also kills fungal and bacterial micro-agents on contact, without burning or irritating the skin. It works well and fast on scratches, dew poisoning, rain rot, ringworm, poison oak, poison ivy and more.
