KENT HOPPER OF HOPPER EXPOSITIONS INC. ANNOUNCED AS TRADE SHOW DIRECTOR FOR THE INTERNATIONAL EQUESTRIAN FESTIVAL

As visitors flock to the International Equestrian Festival, they will enjoy an event unlike any other. The recent hiring of a major figure in the equine industry will ensure that the IEF will provide attendees with the ultimate entertainment experience. Horse Capital Productions is proud to announce that Kent Hopper will be the trade show director for the International Equestrian Festival. The official announcement was made last weekend at the AETA International Trade Fair at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center at Oaks, Pa.

“Kent is very well-respected in the industry,” said Kimberly E. Brown, co-founder of Horse Capital Productions. “His expertise that he and the Hopper Expositions team bring to the table will ensure that the International Equestrian Festival will be an unforgettable event. The hundreds of thousands of visitors to Lexington will discover all that the International Equestrian Festival has to offer—great exhibits, merchandise from around the globe and unique activities.”

Hopper, a 40-year industry veteran, is the president and CEO of Hopper Expositions Inc., a Middletown, Ohio-based company. He is responsible for producing numerous trade events, including the American Equestrian Trade Association International Fair.

His role as trade show director for the International Equestrian Festival is a major one, as he is responsible for many aspects of this multi-million dollar, multi-day event. Hopper will be heavily involved in working with IEF exhibitors, including managing exhibitor relations and logistics of the event. In addition, he will serve as an important liaison between exhibitors and the house decorator of the IEF, supervise all outside contractors, and aid in coordinating the consumer and exhibitor ad program.

Horse Capital Productions LLC, a Lexington-based company, will produce the 2010 International Equestrian Festival, to be held simultaneously with the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games. The world-class event will take place from Sept. 25 through Oct. 10, 2010 at the state-of-the-art Lexington Convention Center, located in downtown Lexington.

The high-profile event will feature unique educational seminars, one-of-a-kind art exhibits and convention activities, as well as high-end retailers from around the world.
