CONNOISSEUR COLLECTION LEADS WITH SMART STYLE

For those cool summer mornings at the barn (and those chilly evenings around town), there’s nothing like The Connoisseur Collection’s lightweight jacket in hay-repellent, bonded fabric. Besides layering beautifully over color-coordinated tops, it features contrast topstitching and two-way zippers with horseshoe zipper pulls. Truly a smart, sophisticated option. It is also available as a vest. It comes in black, green or purple, with a retail price of $179.

There’s a quiet revolution going on in equestrian sportswear, and The Connoisseur Collection is leading the way. Here’s what makes the clothing different from average riding togs:

-Unlimited styles that are truly at home in many settings, whether riding, golfing, doing Pilates/yoga or traveling

-Season-less colors that are both fresh and cheerful, with coordinated collections and reversible pieces that make looking smart a breeze

-Quality and durability. A real value for the money, these garments will endure many washings without pilling or fading

-Flattering and forgiving fit with no unnecessary details – only those that skim, elongate and enhance the form, or add attractive contrast

-An exclusive, cotton-based tri-blend fabric that combines all the positives of cotton without the drawbacks. Moisture-wicking and comfortable, it gently skims the body and hides imperfections

The Connoisseur Collection was founded in 2005 and is based in Potomac, Md. The company was named after founder Irene Filacchione’s beloved dressage schoolmaster, who is her daily inspiration.
