FITS PATENT APPROVED FOR SEGMENTED FULL-SEAT BREECH DESIGN
FITS / Fun In The Saddle Inc. makers of FITS PerforMAX breeches and technical riding wear announced April 16 that their utility patent application for their revolutionary full-seat breech design has been granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office and will issue imminently.
According to Sheryl Rudolph, President and Founder of FITS: “Until our invention came into being, full seat breeches had a single piece of material or continuously joined material in the seat, leg and crotch areas. A key patented feature of our breech involves segmenting of the full seat into multiple panels with stretch fabric in between the panels for vastly increased rider comfort and freedom of motion. The validation by the USPTO of the originality and technological advancement of our segmented full seat breech design is a significant step forward in our plans as we continue to market and expand our product offering in the U.S. and abroad. Additional pending patents, both domestic and foreign, will further secure broad exclusive rights.”
