ALLTECH ADDS TWO PARTNERSHIPS FOR UPCOMING ALLTECH FEI WORLD EQUESTRIAN GAMES 2010

Global animal health and nutrition company, Alltech, the title sponsor of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010, recently signed partnership agreements with Italian feed company, Grigi Cereali, and German special feed and nutrition company, iWest. Each company will become their country’s official sponsor of the Games.

Robert Walker, general manager of Alltech Italy, said, “Differentiation is crucial in our industry. I truly believe that participating in this partnership program and this exciting event will help create new opportunities for Grigi Cereali.”

“Grigi Cereali sees tremendous opportunities in becoming the Italian Animal Health and Nutrition partner for the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010,” said Daniele Gregi, CEO of Grigi Cereali. “Today’s agreement will further consolidate our relationship with Alltech.”

“As title sponsor of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010, we are inviting leading feed companies from around the world to share in the excitement of the Games by signing up to our collaborative health and nutrition partner program,” explained Dr. Christian Scheidemann, general manager of Alltech Germany. “For more than 15 years we have delivered iWest with our supplements for their products, and in recent years our business connection has become a real partnership. I am delighted that iWest has decided to join the program and I look forward to working with them in the build-up to the Games.”

“As a leading German special feed and nutrition company we are well positioned to participate in this global event,” said Gerhard W. Meyer, CEO of iWest. “We share Alltech’s enthusiasm for the Games and I believe that the two companies will form a solid partnership.”

Heike Kemmer, a German Equestrian who won an Olympic Gold medal in 2008 for Team Dressage, was on hand to congratulate the two companies on their partnership deal.
