TROXEL UPGRADES BEST-SELLING SPIRIT HELMET

Troxel LLC, manufacturer of ASTM/SEI-certified equestrian helmets, has improved its popular Spirit helmet.

The Spirit now features an extended visor that provides 30 percent more sun protection and a stylish new look. The new visor borrows from Troxel’s premium models by incorporating the company’s Soft-Tip visor technology. Engineered to reduce the possible occurrence of cuts or scrapes in the event of a fall, the Soft-Tip visor is composed of a structural plastic visor co-molded with a soft, protective outer rim. The attachment of the visor has been upgraded to a pinned system that perfectly aligns the visor.

“In addition to bringing out exciting new models, upgrades like this are consistent with our philosophy of continually improving our complete product line,” said Richard Timms, chairman of Troxel.

Available in sizes small, medium and large, the Spirit features Troxel's GPS II dial-fit technology. The Spirit, a consumer favorite, is considered one of the industry’s best helmets for growing kids and is available in traditional white and black as well as three contemporary colors – periwinkle, fuchsia and navy antiquus.

The upgraded Spirit is available now from select retailers at an MSRP of $44.95, positioned in Troxel's line of helmets that work equally well in either English or Western disciplines, including the Legacy ($49.95) and Sport ($29.95).
