WETA'S WEB AND PR PROGRAMS CREATE 83 MILLION CUSTOMER IMPRESSIONS IN 12 MONTHS
That's right: Americans saw something about the Get Yourself West marketing and PR programs 83 million times in one year. Talk about great exposure!
The targets are not necessarily the core customers of the Western and English industry, but what are called the “Persuadables”, the millions of Americans who sometimes wear Western or might occasionally consider equestrian activities but need nudging. These are new customers from new places and the goal is to drive more of them into the stores of retail members.
Here's how WETA, through the Marketing and PR Initiative, has made those 83 million customer impressions in the past year.
Newspaper & TV
WETA's PR program netted article placements and broadcast fashion shows in newspapers and TV shows in major populations centers including Atlanta, Chicago, New York, Denver and San Antonio.
Well-Known News Web Sites
WETA's PR program garnered coverage in 100 online news sites including sites for the Los Angeles Times, the Dallas Morning News, Forbes and Yahoo! Finance.
Online Sweepstakes and Web Traffic
The GetYourselfWest.com monthly sweepstakes attracts traffic to the Web site and consequently builds a voluntary, opt-in e-mail list.
