IEBA EXPO TO PROVIDE FITTING ADVICE, PLAN GROUP BUYING
In tough economic times, isn't it fitting that the industry reaches within itself to help itself?
Exhibitors at IEBA Expo in Richmond are presenting new products to help retailers excite and attract their customers, and they are offering show specials to help dealers lower price points and save money.
Dealers at IEBA Expo are getting together at industry open forums, once each day of the show, to discuss needs for a group buying cooperative.
And everyone can get fitting advice saddle-fitting advice, that is. Patrick Keane, owner of Patrick Saddlery, will provide saddle construction information and fitting assessments during IEBA Expo to tack and saddlery dealer personnel. Paddy's advice will assist dealers in understanding construction techniques leading to the best saddle matches for customer satisfaction and for horse comfort and performance.

Group Buying Takes Center Stage
Grassroots community retailers are responding in support for an IEBA group buying initiative. Fed up with manufacturer price points that get undercut by catalogs and Web sites, dealers want a group buying cooperative to earn lower prices from consolidated higher volume.
There will be an open forum in Richmond, once each day of the event, to discuss and plan an IEBA group buying initiative, to air grievances that can be addressed collectively, and to raise any other questions for discussion.
